Recovered theft cover #? (number is under stamp)

Cover addressed to a Surgeon aboard the H.M.S. "Ardent", in Alexandria Egypt, from base camp. The cover was forwarded twice to Whitehall, England and then to the Trincomalee Dockyard in Ceylon(?). The cover is franked with Great Britain KEVIII 1½d tied by "Portsmouth & Southsea" cancel dated 29 Jan 37 due to fowarding. The reverse includes another "Portsmouth & Southsea" date stamp and a London transit date stamp.
