Appendix B - Table 1 (DRAFT)

A Detailed Listing of the 1924 British Mt. Everest Expedition

Combination of the Base Camp Marking (M2) &
the Advertising Marking in Black (M3b)

 &

EV24-M2 & EV24-M3b

There are only five documented covers (expedition post cards) bearing the combination of the Base Camp marking (EV24-M2) and the Advertising marking in black (EV24-M3b). All five of these cards were mailed on the same day, July 9, 1924 from the Yatung British postal facility. Four of the cards were mailed to very unique and distant locations. As with all the Advertising markings, they are only found on the expedition post card that advertises the 1924 expedition film.
